The Cube (2022)
In this series of photographs the steel cube is placed within nature, creating an eerie sense of an unwanted phenomenon. Some viewers have described The Cube as "sad" or "lonely" which shows the desire of The Cube to be elsewhere.
A capturing image of The Cube being held in the air, above the individuals head as its shape is brought out by the dark tones also reflected by the trees in the background.
Amongst the trees: The Cube appears lonely and misplaced.
This image captures the beauty of The Cubes reflective property. At first glance you would not immediately see the presence of The Cube but as you look closer it emerges from the nature surrounding it.
Wherever The Cube is placed is never quite right for it to fit in.
