CONOR II (2022)
A delicate photography series where the individual is merely existing within an environment. This series reflects on the vulnerability of the self in ones own environment; the pensive state we may find ourselves. However, ones own personal environment can represent many things from love, hate, fear, anxiety, comfort and many more emotions the human kind is able to feel depending on the situation caused on oneself. One may find comfort in their own environment whilst some will fear and run away from their own environment.
What do you do on your free time? When you're all alone in your room? Surrounded by your thoughts? What darkness do you find behind the light? Are you comfortable like this?
Loane: "Conor, what are you thinking about?"
Conor: "How fast time is passing me by."
Is being alone self care? Do you care for yourself when you are alone? Are you kind to yourself when all you hear is you and the silence of the night?
